If you have read any of my blogs then you know that these are the five areas of my life that I try to keep balanced to achieve bliss. And I have dedicated several blog posts to them all separately and collectively.
Today I wanted to dedicate my posts to my friends. I have been blessed to have some amazing people in my life that I call friend. Some friendships I have had most of my life and some new ones that I have developed just in the past year. Here is how my friendships impact my Fab 5!
Faith! My college friends and I joke that someone really had to be praying for us while we were doing those bone head things in college. It had to be the prayers of a righteous person that kept us safe! My friends and I really do take our faith seriously. We have a devotional group that we talk and share inspiration in just about every day.
Fitness! As a new fitness coach, my friends truly support me. A few have signed up and are on the journey with me, others like and share my posts, others listen to and encourage me, and others are praying for my success. We all share a desire to be healthy, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually and we encourage each other to do so.
Family! Friends are family that you get to choose. My friends are my brothers and sisters. Their family is my family. And it’s not just the friends I’ve had for over 30 years that I feel this way about. I have met some people in the past 6 months that have had an incredible impact over my life…they are my family too.
Finance! There was a time when you didn’t discuss finanaces in mixed company. Having that secretive attitude has ruined a lot of people that just didn’t know how to manage money and credit. It’s me. I am some people. But thankfully, I have some friends who have degrees and careers centered around money and finace and they are always there for advice. I’m also excited about continuing to grow my fitness business with some of my friends…old and new!
Fun! What are friends for, if you can’t have a little fun with them? Even in times that are tough, my friends know how to get a laugh out. I will never forget how my friends traveled last minute to come see me after a death in my family. We sat around my kitchen table and laughed until the wee hours of the morning. Laughter with friends makes the tough times easier to bear.
Friendship is a very important part of my life. I cherish my friends and they help keep me on the path to Bliss.
